We are Kate and Zach- plus kids and animals!

In 2020 we moved from Massachusetts up to Downeast, Maine. Like with many folks, 2020 changed life and work for us. Zach had been a full time gigging musician, then was no longer gigging, and Kate was no longer commuting 2 hours a day into an office and was able to work from home. With two young kiddos and the opportunity to work from anywhere, through a very long process we found ourselves looking to Maine. Kate here: At first glance of the listing of our property I knew it was the one. It immediately brought tears to my eyes. It was out of our desired price range, way further Downeast than we anticipated, way more rural, way more everything. It was perfect. Ha!

We had wanted to begin homesteading and slowly bring animals on and all that was swiftly out the window when I had an empty barn. Animals, gardens, it all started go go going! More on that later.
